In a session held this Wednesday (23), the CPI of the Financial Pyramids approved the breach of confidentiality of Cauã Raymond and Tatá Werneck. The decision constitutes a new stage in the investigation surrounding the activities of the Atlas Quantum company. Both artists had already been summoned to give testimony before the commission, however, thanks to a habeas corpus obtained from the Federal Supreme Court (STF), they were exempted from appearing.

Advertisements linked to Atlas Quantum are being investigated by the CPI. The company’s founder also had bank secrecy breach determined by the parliamentary committee.

The session was marked by the clash between deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ) and the president of the CPI, Áureo Ribeiro (Solidariedade-RJ). All members of the commission voted in favor of breaking confidentiality, except Braga, who was the only one to speak out against it.

During the debate, President Áureo Ribeiro questioned Braga about his preference between directing the commission to other deliberations or, on the contrary, concentrating on the voting on the agenda. This approach aroused discontent on the part of Glauber Braga. “I will not accept such accusations. In my case they are ineffective. I assure you of that. And allow me to make a suggestion: break my bank secrecy and I will do the same with yours. Can you predict the outcome? I will stand by.” firm, raising your head, while you, presumably, will not enjoy the same fate” said Glauber Braga.

Despite the objection made by the PSOL deputy, the resolution for the breach of secrecy was ratified by the commission.

The defenses of Tatá Werneck and Cauã Reymond were contacted by F5and did not respond to the position request until the publication of this report.
