Anitta is being recognized internationally not only for her songs in English or Spanish, but also in the fashion world. The singer stars in Savage X Fenty campaign, Rihanna’s lingerie brand.
Through a post on Instagram, the brand’s official profile shared clicks of the artist wearing a rhinestone top and panties from the Crystal Crush Xtra collection. The partnership between the two is not new, as Anitta performed at the company’s parade in 2022.
According to her, the choice for the partnership was to contribute to diversity in the industry. “We should all be able to express our sexiness and how good we feel about ourselves and Savage X Fenty is all about celebrating that freedom of being. I’m a huge fan,” she said in an interview with British Glamor magazine.
The artist also commented on the plastic surgeries she has had over the years and refuted the idea that the reason was because she was ashamed of her own body.
“I did it simply because I wanted to do it and I liked the result. People always say ‘love yourself’ but they never say when they’ve changed something. If you want to change, go out there and change it, don’t waste time worrying about it and the what other people think.”
