Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys is accused by another woman of sexual assault

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, 43, has been accused by a new woman of sexual assault. According to TMZ, she claims that the artist would have forced sexual intercourse inside a yacht and on a bus in 2003, when she was 15 and he was 23.

Carter’s attorney denied the alleged victim’s allegations to the publication and said authorities had investigated the allegations and found no merit in pursuing the allegations. And that the woman is “repeating false allegations”.

This is the third woman to sue Carter for the same reason. Shannon Ruth had already filed an action in December 2022 when reporting to the authorities that she would also have been the victim of sexual abuse after a show in 2001, when she was a minor.

Singer Melissa Schuman claims Carter used “his role, status and power as a well-known singer to gain access, entice, manipulate, exploit and sexually assault her”. At the time, she was 18 and he was 22.

Melissa publicly accused Carter in November 2017 in a blog post. She said she was in a girl band called Dream when she met him on the set of the made-for-TV horror movie “The Hollow.” Schuman then described him in the publication as a “relentless” man in not accepting refusals for a more intimate involvement.

He also said that even being informed by her about the desire to wait for marriage to have sex, he would not have respected her. On one occasion, first, the singer would have forced oral sex and then raped her. He denies it.

Problems with the law seem to run in the family. In May, Nick’s mother was arrested for a very unusual reason: a remote control. Jane Schneck listened to music so loud that her husband couldn’t sleep and the two ended up having a fight, and she assaulted him. The police took her to the police station. Days later, she was released after posting bail.
