After 15 years of (resounding) absence, the Municipal Theater of Lycabettus returns to the city’s cultural map, completely renovated and upgraded by the Municipality of Athens – and the program of concerts and performances, which will be hosted in the legendary theater, is already full.

Until October we will enjoy 17 performances – musical and theatrical – that make us look forward to our return to Lycabettus.

September

  • Stavros Xarchakos – September 15

The emblematic theater of Lycabettus opens with a great concert dedicated to the great compositional work of Stavros Xarhakos. On his return to the Attic hill, Stavros Xarchakos will present the program “Celebration on Lycabettus” accompanied by a multi-member orchestra, which will render the top moments of his career in new orchestrations. With them are Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Manolis Mitsias, Iro Saia, Zacharias Karounis. And we couldn’t think of a better “opening”.

Tickets: €8 – €25

  • Pyx Lax – September 16 and 21

The reopening of the legendary theater of Lycabettus also marks the return of Pyx Lax to the most melodic top of the city. Pyx Lax’s career is inextricably linked to the hill of Lycabettus itself and has been combined with their legendary concerts, from the first they gave there 27 years ago to the five (!) consecutive sold out in 2000. Many years may have passed since then, but the Athenian public’s impatience holds up well, which is why the band announced a second date, due to high demand.
