Kayky Brito was with Bruno de Luca and the police want to know if the car was traveling at high speed

Actor Kayky Brito, 34, was with friends, including actor and presenter Bruno de Luca, shortly before being run over at dawn last Saturday (2), in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro. The 16th Police Precinct is investigating the circumstances of the accident.

That’s what Chief Angelo Lages said. According to him, Kayky was at the Dona Marta kiosk, located at Posto 6 in Barra da Tijuca. He was having fun with friends, including de Luca, and went to the car to get an artifact.

When trying to return to the scene, the car that ran over him committed the fact. There was an attempt to deviate from the actor, but it was not possible.

The app driver was with a passenger on board, who had a lap baby in the back seat. The owner of the vehicle and the passenger provided help and called an ambulance. The incident took place at 1:08 am. Efforts have already begun to investigate what happened.

The police requested expertise from the site and are trying to find out if the driver was traveling at a speed higher than the speed allowed for the stretch in the region, which is 70 km per hour. The case was recorded as culpable bodily injury, when there is no intention to hurt the victim.

So far, Kayky Brito’s advice and her family members, such as Stefhany Brito, even sought after by the F5, do not comment on the accident. They arrived at the Miguel Couto hospital, where Kayky is hospitalized, around 12:45 pm.

Rio’s health department claims that Kayky suffered polytrauma and head trauma. Her condition is considered very serious.
