The family of Tom Veiga, the interpreter of the parrot Louro José, celebrated the decision of the Justice that determined the division of the actor’s inheritance among his four children. Alessandra Veiga, mother of two of the heirs, released the result of the sentence, which put an end to the legal battle fought with the widow Cybelle Hermínio da Costa. Ana Maria Braga’s partner died in November 2020, the victim of a stroke (Cerebral Vascular Accident).

Alessandra, who was married to the actor for 14 years and is the mother of Adrian, 23, and Alissa, 17, celebrated the decision last Friday (1) on We Podcast, a program she presents with her son in Orlando, USA . “Children are the true heirs of Tom Veiga. It could not be otherwise. It was a very tumultuous situation”, she said.

According to her, the court ordered the annulment of the will left by Tom. In it, Cybelle held 50% of the Louro José interpreter’s assets. The other 50% were divided between his four children, 12.5% for each. The actor’s children filed a civil lawsuit in court to invalidate the widow as an heir. With the new decision, the children are left with 100%, and Cybelle with nothing.

O F5 sought the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice for confirmation, but the process remains secret from Justice and the records are restricted to the parties involved.

“Congratulations, my son. Congratulations Amanda, Diego, and Alissa for the great victory. (…) Congratulations to the children, and Cristina and I, as their mothers and wanting everything to be resolved”, celebrated Alessandra.

In 2018, the interpreter of Louro José started dating Cybelle. The two had been in a stable union since June 2019. They were married in a religious ceremony in January 2020, but only spent nine months together. The officialization took place only in August of that year, with total separation of assets, but they separated a few days later.

According to a report by the Metrópoles newspaper, about a month after the actor’s death, the action heard the testimony of an employee who worked for the couple for a year and a half. According to her, the widow was a “very jealous” person and this characteristic was a reason for constant fights within the couple’s residence.
