Visibly moved, he shared his experience of facing trauma and rebuilding his life. “I’m going through a process and, of course, revisiting a lot of what happened. Sometimes it’s important to revisit, to relive, because this is part of the desensitization process that I learned during therapy, and it’s fundamental to overcome traumas”, he explained.
“As we revisit and relive these moments, they lose their power over us. It’s an essential step in emotional healing from what happened. For that, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are my pillar, and I have no words for express my gratitude,” he was moved to say.
Finally, Meyniel addressed the visible marks on her face, painful reminders of the assault. “These marks will disappear, they will pass, and that’s what matters. All the love in the world.
