After almost 10 years, Jennifer Lopez is releasing a new solo album.

With the signing of a new record deal with BMG – announced by Billboard – Lopez is preparing to release her ninth album “This Is Me…Now”.

The 13-song album will be Jennifer Lopez’s first solo debut in nine years since 2014’s AKA.

The New York-born singer to Puerto Rican parents’ latest musical ventures include last year’s new version of her 2014 hit “Same Girl” — a remix with French Montana released for her Netflix documentary “Halftime” — together with ‘This Land Is Your Land (2021 from US President Joe Biden’s inauguration).

Her most recent album titled ‘Marry Me’ in 2022 – was a collaboration with Maluma and was the soundtrack to their film of the same title, released by Universal Studios/Sony Music US Latin. At the official press conference, both the chairman and CEO of BMG expressed their excitement about working with Lopez.

The singer recorded “This Is Me…Now” in 2022 and 2023 at her home studio in Los Angeles. The award-winning singer and actress produced the album alongside Rojed Chahagent, Angel Lopez and others.

The album’s release date has yet to be announced.
