The imbroglio regarding a property in Alphaville that MC Guimê did not pay off in full now takes on new contours. The São Paulo Court determined that Lexa should be responsible for paying the debt. Until then, she had appealed to not have funds blocked in her account. But the latest decision represents a defeat for her.
According to the São Paulo Court of Justice, Lexa is, indeed, responsible for the singer’s debt for having a universal union of assets with him. Even with the separation after the case of sexual harassment on BBB 23, the singer did not share her assets. They later rekindled their romance. When contacted, Lexa did not comment.
This way, it will be up to her to pay off the amount. The debt refers to the purchase of a property in 2016 by the funk singer worth R$2.2 million. Currently, the value of the debt is estimated at almost R$3 million. According to the owners, the musician would have failed to pay around R$777,000.
Because Lexa was married to him through universal union of property, judges allowed up to 30% of her income, from streaming, to be seized in order to cover the value.
The owners went to court demanding the termination of the property contract and the payment of compensation for enjoyment, that is, for the time in which Guimê enjoyed the house. In October 2020, the funk player had been convicted in the first instance. The process is being carried out in secret.
