Sophie Turner is suing her ex-husband Joe Jonas, seeking for her two daughters to return to their home in England. According to the website Page Six, in court documents this Thursday (21), the actress says that the singer has unfairly kept the 1- and 3-year-old children in the United States since September 20.
The former couple confirmed rumors about their divorce earlier this month, through posts on social media, after four years of marriage. The “Game of Thrones” actress reportedly reluctantly agreed to have her daughters accompany Joe on his travels while on tour with the Jonas Brothers. This way, she would have more time available to dedicate to recording a television series.
Now, according to the website, Sophie claims that the children have agreed to “move to England” in December 2022 and demands their presence. The two would have bought a house in the English countryside in April.
The website also reports that Sophie found out about the divorce request through the press. According to the documents, the end of the four-year marriage happened unexpectedly.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married in 2019 and have two daughters, but they never shared photos of them on social media or any other means of communication.
