For the 6th consecutive year, the Hellenic Cardiological Society (CSR) continues with the Panhellenic Student Digital Photography Competition, approved by the Ministry of Education, the effort to raise awareness and inform students about smoking, secondhand smoke and its multiple effects and society. The competition is held every year on the occasion of World No Smoking Day (May 31).
Students’ photos can be captured by any medium they want, e.g. digital camera, mobile phone, tablet etc.
The aim of the competition is through artistic creation to protect children – from an early age – from both the harmful habit of smoking and from passive smoking. Another goal, says CSR, is to raise awareness among adults about a major social problem, with incalculable implications for human health and the health system.
Primary schools can send their participation in the competition to the email [email protected], until March 31, 2022.
Upon receipt of interest, a reply email will be sent along with the competition notice and its details, as well as a responsible statement that must be completed by the school and the guardian of each participating student and sent along with his work.
The deadline for the electronic submission of works is May 2, 2022. The works will be sent in digital form and only to [email protected].
