“Your courage moves mountains,” wrote Scout, 32, who is the actor’s eldest child with Demi Moore
Bruce Willis’ daughters Scout and Tallulah show their support for their father’s wife Emma Heming Willisafter the sensational interview he gave about the actor’s health.
Last February, Bruce Willis retired from Hollywood for good after it was confirmed that he was suffering from frontotemporal dementia. After that, the actor, who starred in the films ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘Armageddon’, ‘Die Hard’ and ‘The Sixth Sense’, kept getting worse and his family and friends kept updating him on his health condition through social media.
In her poignant interview on the Today show, his wife was emotionally charged as she discussed dealing with the “sadness and heartbreak” of seeing her husband’s health decline.
The actor’s daughter, 32-year-old Scout, who is Bruce’s oldest child with Demi Moore, wrote on Instagram: “I really couldn’t be more proud of Emma Heming Willis, who is willing to come out in the open (even if it’s scary), to share our family’s story and raise awareness of Frontotemporal Dementia. Emma you inspire me every day with your bravery and deep love. Your courage moves mountains,” wrote the daughter of Bruce Willis.

Bruce Willis’ youngest daughter with Demi Moore, 29-year-old Tallulah, posted her older sister’s words on her Instagram stories with the caption: “So proud of my family, Emma Heming Willis.”
The actor married Emma Heming Willis in 2009 and they have two young children, Mabel Ray Willis, 11, and Evelyn Penn Willis, 9. The actor has remained good friends with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, to whom he was married from 1987 to 2000. They have three daughters, Scout, Tallulah and Rumer.
In her interview, among others, Emma Heming Willis mentioned that it was beautiful, even though there was sadness, to see their two young daughters taking care of their father. “What I see is that dementia is difficult. It’s hard on the person diagnosed, it’s also hard on the family. And that makes no difference whether we’re talking about Bruce or myself or our girls. When they say it’s a family disease, it’s true,” he said with disarming honesty.
When asked if the famous actor understands what is happening to him, she replied: “It’s hard to know. We are a very honest and open family,” she added, when asked about how they went about explaining the disease to their daughters.

“And the most important thing was to be able to tell them exactly what this disease is, to explain to them what it is. It was important to let them know what it is because I don’t want there to be any ‘stigma’ or shame around their father’s diagnosis or any form of dementia.”
He added: “There are so many beautiful things happening in our lives. It is very important for me to look up from the sadness and distress so that I can see what is happening around us. Bruce teaches our girls love, patience, resilience, so much… And he teaches me and all of us…’.
