Mick Jagger, the leader of the Rolling Stones, found a charming refuge in Sicily, Italy. The legendary musician was full of praise for the region, in photos shared on his social networks. The shots were recorded in Catania, where the Ursino Castle and a charming Hostel served as a backdrop for their adventures.
“I enjoyed some time in Italy recently,” he wrote. Wearing an elegant black hat, Jagger was seen in front of a local club and also in front of a mural in Piazza Currò, immersing himself in the vibrant atmospheres of the Sicilian city.
Jagger’s stay in Sicily wasn’t just limited to Catania, as the rock star made a point of exploring more of the region’s landmarks. Before his stop in the capital of Etna, he visited Syracuse, an island that is becoming an increasingly frequent destination for the British musician, who spent several months enjoying summer holidays in the area and also experienced a period of confinement during Covid-19 pandemic in Sicilian lands.
Sicily, with its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty, seems to have deeply captivated Mick Jagger. In addition to recharging your energy, the island served as inspiration for creating new songs for the next Rolling Stones album.
