C-3PO’s helmet worn by Anthony Daniels in the first film “Star Wars” expected to sell for £1 million at auction next month.
The golden helmet it is included in a collection of more than 1,800 costumes, objects and memorabilia from film and television that will go on sale to collectors in London from November 9-12.
The auction is being organized by Propstore with items from the Indiana Jones, James Bond and A Nightmare On Elm Street film series and from the films Titanic, Gladiator and Blade Runner and is estimated to have a total value of over £12 million.

The helmet, which comes from the personal collection of Anthony Daniels and featured in the 1977 classic ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’, is one of the highest valued items, with an estimated sale price of £500,000 to £1 million.
“I hope that Star Wars fans and collectors around the world will be delighted to be given the opportunity to own an item from the films,” said Anthony Daniels.
The shield used by Chris Evans when he starred as Captain America in the 2011 film ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ is estimated to sell for £50,000-£100,000 and the price of the script of ‘The Shinning’ that Stanley Kubrick had on set expected to reach £30,000-£60,000.
Also included in the auction are costumes worn by Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lawrence, Marlon Brando and Cillian Murphy.
