First what is defined as a decision? Decision as a concept means that you need to make a choice in the next minute, the next day or for the rest of your life. Did you get a little stressed? If so, you probably belong to the relatively indecisive people of this world or to those who give a lot of importance, space and time to be able to make their next important or even insignificant decision.

It is therefore a decision to choose from the simplest to the most complex. From what you will choose to eat the next day to whether you feel you want to start your own family in the future or not. Decision. A word so dynamic and at the same time so scary when your plans don’t seem to go the way you’ve dreamed them in your head.

  • What is a decision after all?

How do we get it and how do we know it’s the right one? If they affect other people, then what do we do? How much time do we need to decide? Months, days, years, or maybe the best solution is to make a decision in seconds? What are the factors we usually have to consider? Which person do we think of every time we feel like we have to make a decision? Why do our “wants” regarding our decisions seem to be miles away from our “shoulds”?

  • This “something” is suffocating you

And this something has been baptized with the name “decision”. In fact, you have reached the point of being trapped in this decision that you almost made but never put your signature on so that it could be considered valid. And yet it must. You must finally look determined. Because this weight of neutral attitude burdens you with doubts and somehow your mind is never calm. It’s as if your subconscious is telling you, it’s you, something is wrong with the waiting you’ve kept me for so long. Something is wrong with this fear of yours, just like with any other fear of yours.

  • Decisions are related to our character

Resolutions exist to see how long we can stand away from certain things and certain people. Great clarifications that play between emotion and logic and finally find their own balance. And when you make the decision, any decision, then everything seems clear now. Now you know where you are going, to whom, with whom and why. There is no room for doubt, since the second you made this decision, everything became magical and somehow everything finally fell into place.

  • Was a certain “I want” of yours enough, after all?

The most “square” minds of this world may tell you somewhere here that some decisions in this life are not so simple to be satisfied with the will alone. Some others, however, a little more dreamy and optimistic, will add that the long time it takes to make a decision ends up wearing down the decision itself. For these people, the borderline “jealous”, a few seconds of courage and will are enough. Because as they typically say: Everything is a matter of great desire. The greater the desire, the less thought needed to make the decision.

I, beyond the square minds and the most dreamy, somewhere here I would add that everything needs honesty. Honesty and perhaps a night of deep reflection and contemplation. A night or a day when your broken pieces will either find the strength within you to come together again, or for some reason your joined pieces will finally catch their breath and break, maybe they will manage to create new ones. The ones that suit you and that if you had known earlier, you might have chosen them days, months or even years before.

  • Big decisions need honesty and small ones need love

So it’s not a matter of time my dear and dear. It’s not even a matter of days sometimes. Better say that a few seconds are enough, as long as these seconds hide within them sincerity. That’s why it doesn’t seem strange to you that within a few seconds, you might make some of your most important decisions.

Do what your heart says big, she honestly always knows because she’s as big as you are. That’s why she holds so much indecision. Do what your eyes say in all those moments when, whether you have them open or closed, the vision remains the same.

It’s time for me to choose what to wear. In a few hours it will be dawn.
