Singer Maria Gadú, 36, showed her anger on social media due to the approval of the bill that prohibits the possibility of civil marriage between people of the same sex in Brazil.
The measure was approved on Tuesday morning (10), in the Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.
“Take care of your own lives. Take care of your families. Bunch of stupid males wanting to dictate lives. They abandon their daughters and sons and still have the nerve to think they have the right to decide about other people’s love,” she wrote.
With an image of a kiss with his girlfriend, Ana Paula, 36, the singer said that he intends to walk down the aisle with his beloved. “We will get married, we will raise and love our children and you will always be the idiots who invented sin. We say yes to marriage, yes to motherhood, yes to love,” she posted.
Gadú received the support and affection of famous friends such as Sandy, Monica Benini, Dadá Coelho and Beth Goulart.
Last month, Ludmilla had also demonstrated her discontent with the measure, the vote for which had been postponed at the time.
“It’s hard to believe that this issue is still being discussed today, since same-sex unions were already guaranteed. How long will we need to fight to be legally recognized as a couple and guarantee basic rights to live the fullness of a relationship?”, she began in text on social media.
“Bearing, raising, adopting children, with the peace of mind of knowing that we will always be able to enjoy everything the world has to offer us, without worrying about whether we will be able to count on our rights as a family, after fulfilling so many duties”, added the singer.
