In these locations, he met some of the most influential academics and scholars of modern Greece – Historians, Lawyers, Computer Scientists, Political Scientists, Journalists, Writers, Sociologists, Constitutionalists, Philologists, Economists.
The show was the trigger for interesting discussions and exchanges of views between users on social media while 1,088,744 viewers watched each original episode for at least a minute on average.
THE Stathis Kalyvastaking stock after the end of the episodes, said:
“Based on an original narrative of our modern history with positive and optimistic content, this journey into our collective past has succeeded in combining the authoritative interventions of leading scientists and journalists with its tight and fascinating narrative and fascinating cinematic imagery. and anthropogenic environment of our country. It was a TV series that proved that sobriety can be combined with sharp and original look, sensitivity with a clear stigma that was widely accepted, scientific validity with a simple and clear reason, and finally aesthetics and quality with impact to the general public. It is no exaggeration to say that it brought a new breath to the television landscape. “We want to believe that ‘Disasters and Triumphs’ have been a milestone in our national self-awareness.”
But what is the opinion of the new generation of Greeks who did not experience most of the events that marked modern Greek history? Generation Z takes a stand and is not what we think. We asked 6 representatives of the generation that grew up on the wave of social media to live 200 years of history, through the SKAI documentary series, “Disasters & Triumphs”. Efi Zafeiropoulou and Evangelos Petrogiannos from the Avgoulea-Linardatou Schools in Peristeri, Mateo Klimi and Antonia Bardouka from the 52nd General Lyceum of Athens in Kolonos and Nefeli Bouloukou and Kalnisanas Papagelotikos Sylgos their answers are disarming.
