Jennifer Lopez feels “so lucky and proud” to have a second chance with Ben Affleck.
The couple appeared on a new cover for People saying that their relationship is a “blessing”.
“I feel so lucky, happy and proud to be with him,” he told the magazine, noting that the room in Lopez’s home where he was interviewed now functions as Affleck’s office.
“It’s a beautiful love story that we had a second chance,” JLo said.
Lopez admitted that making their relationship so public for the first time – and the subsequent separation – made them much better prepared to handle their lives this time around.
“We are older now, we are smarter, we have more experience,” he explained. “We are at different points in our lives, we have children now and we need to be very aware of these things. We are so protective because it is such a beautiful moment for all of us “.
He said: “I do my best to protect my ‘happy and affectionate’ relationship with Affleck because we both consider it ‘sacred’.”
Although the rekindling of an old love affair may seem familiar, the singer said that “Bennifer 2.0” is a completely different chapter.
