American actor, Chris Evans, known for his role as “Captain America”, first publicly confirmed onstage at New York’s ComiCon that he married actress Alba Baptista last month. And it was the first time his fans saw him wearing his gold wedding ring.

“Got married”, the star said to cheers from the crowd at Manhattan’s Javits Center. “It was really, really great».

According to Page Six, the wedding took place in the utmost secrecy at a private mansion in Cape Cod, Massachusetts with guests signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and handing over their cell phones.

“We kind of had two ceremonies. We did one on the East Coast and one in Portugal – my wife is Portuguese. They were just wonderful and beautiful“, revealed the famous actor and added.

“Planning a wedding is a big ordeal, those of you who are married know that it takes a lot of time. Now that we’ve passed that, we’re just enjoying life, getting ready for fall, my favorite season».

The pair first sparked romance rumors last November, just days after the actor was named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2022.

“It’s the best time of the year right now. Now we just relax and enjoy life“, the star revealed.
