During the pandemic, a friend sent to Sharon Stone a painting set, a gift that led her to a new page of creative expression. The famous actress through this discovered her love for painting and a few days ago she opened her second exhibition entitled “Welcome to My Garden”presenting 19 giant, brightly colored canvases at the C. Parker Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut.

I love her so much! I love that it brings so much joy and pleasure… or when people come into the studio and say, “Wow – we didn’t know that!”“, the star told the Associated Press.

During the first creation, Stone got tired of painting inside the lines and started creating her own abstract paintings using acrylic on canvas.

And that’s why I hid my condition for many years. Painting helps me to not have the anxiety I used to have. I was able to let go of all this fear and trauma that I was carrying that I wouldn’t be accepted. And you know something? They didn’t really want me anyway. They weren’t going to let me come back and I’m okay with that».
