The last few months have not been easy for presenter Patrícia Poeta. This Thursday’s birthday (19), she planned a party for the following day, in São Paulo, perhaps to also celebrate the end of a cycle that had not been very favorable.
Poet was almost canceled on the networks since she started to lead the Encontro, in 2021. The tense atmosphere was constant between her and her now ex-partner Manoel Soares. There were many times when the two clashed on air and fueled discussions and criticism on the web, which culminated in Soares’ dismissal. Her allegation is that they both defamed her on TV by speaking about supposed injustices and untruths about the controversies between her and Soares. So far, there has been no apology or agreement and the case remains in court. To conclude, Patrícia also missed the opportunity to end the year with a victory in prime time on Globo. Last Sunday (15), she was defeated in a duel against Maria Beltrão in the Battle of Lip Sync, on Domingão. Beltrão did better in the game by dubbing Cher, while Poeta dubbed Jennifer Lopez
