A Fazenda 13: Peões sing and talk about Marília Mendonça without knowing about her death

Unaware of the death of singer Marília Mendonça (1995–2021) after a plane crash last Friday (5), pedestrians from A Fazenda (Record) spoke about her and sang some of her songs this Tuesday afternoon (9) at the headquarters of the reality show in Itapecerica da Serra.

One of the most animated was Rico Melquiades who, with the help of some fellow prisoners, sang “Ausência”, one of the singer’s hits.

Arcrebiano, who was once Marília’s security guard, was another one who coincidentally mentioned the star’s name without knowing what happened to her. Bil said she is “too nice and playful people”.

The model worked for a year on Marília’s team, but she only discovered his real name on the day the participants of Big Brother Brasil 21 were announced. “I can’t believe he worked with me all this time and I didn’t know the name is Arcrebiano”, he commented in Conversa com Bial at the time.

Through social networks, many internet users were surprised by the fact and echoed some videos about the participants of the Record program.

The project As Patroas, formed by the country duo Maiara and Maraisa and the singer Marília Mendonça, should continue, according to producer Junior Campi.

He published a text in his Stories about the future of the project. “Our leader. Our thinking head on everything,” Campi began. “Maiara and Maraisa, God is going to bless us and give us strength to take the Patroas project forward and make her look down there and be proud of what was being the greatest achievement of her life,” he added.

When contacted, the singers’ advisors stated that it is still not certain whether the project will really continue. “For the time being, we don’t have any position on this matter,” he said, adding that “in the opportune moment, information on various matters will be released.”
