Dimitris Kaklamanakis was born on January 25, 1994, has a height of 2m06 and competes as a center. He started basketball from the Infrastructure Divisions of Mars Nice and Milo, and took his first professional steps in Peristeri (2013-14), competed in Elysian (2014-15) and continued for four years in Lavrio (2015-19).
In the 2018-19 season with Lavrio, he made great appearances (he had 8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 23.5 minutes in 28 matches), resulting in a “improved player in the Basket League championship”.
In February 2019, he was first summoned to the Men’s National Basketball Team for the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, he wrote his first participation in Greece’s match against Georgia and now counts 5 appearances with the “blue -white” jersey.
In the 2019-20 season he competed in AEK (he had 3.3 points average and 2.4 rebounds in 11.9 minutes and 27 matches), with which he won the Greek Cup, and participated for the first time in the Basketball Champions League.
In the 2020-2021 season he competed in PAOK where he had 7.9 points average and 6 rebounds in 23.6 minutes. The following year (2021-2022) he returned to Lavrio, where he had competed for a four-year period (2015-2019) and in 31 games in domestic competitions and the Basketball Champions League had 9.8 points average, 5.8 rebounds and 1 assists in 23.9 minutes.
In the 2022-2023 season he started at Prometheus Patras by playing in domestic events and Eurocup and completed the season at PAOK, where he also participated in the Basketball Champions League. In 38 games he had 3.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 13.3 minutes.
In the last two years (2023-2025) he fought in Panionios. In the first year (2023-2024) he played with the “blue” in the Elite League and in 34 games he had 11.4 points average, 8.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 25.4 minutes contributing decisively to the rise to Stoiximan GBL. Last season (2024-2025) he had Panionios in 27 Stoiximan GBL games average and 3.7 rebounds in 14.2 minutes.
