A dramatic series that takes us to New York in 1987 and guides us to a unique, colorful and unknown to many “underground” world.
From Saturday 5 to Monday 14 February we will watch the 1st cycle of the Pose series while from Tuesday 15 February comes the 2nd cycle in A ‘Television Broadcast.
Pose is by Rlean Murphy, creator of Glee, American Horror Story, Nip / Tuck, American Crime Story, 9-1-1, and has garnered six Emmy Award nominations and two Golden Globe nominations.
The series penetrates the world of ball culture, the institution created by groups of transgender drag queens, organizing improvised “beauty” and dance or disguise competitions, which each time have a different central theme. On stage and behind the spotlights, each of the “queens” of these soybeans lives its own fascinating story. But these contests are not just an eccentric form of entertainment. It is at the same time the salvation of hundreds of young people who, because of their identity, were literally abandoned by their families on the street, with no way out.

Episode 1
In New York in 1987, Blanca Rodriguez, a transgender woman who has been involved in ball culture for years under the roof of the “Abundance House”, learns from her doctor that her days are numbered. Before she dies, she decides to leave her old “home” and create her own, the “Evangelista House”. Her goal is to win as many trophies as she can and to leave her mark on the world, before leaving it forever. At the same time, she takes under her protection the homeless dancer Damon and the prostitute Angel.
Sunday, February 6
Episode 2 – Access
Blanca experiences racism while simply trying to order a drink at a popular bar. But he is not going to give up so easily. The inexperienced Damon starts ballet and at the same time begins to feel his first erotic skirmishes. Blanca will give him the necessary “motherly” advice about his love and dangers. Meanwhile, above all suspicion, Stan, a married businessman who is secretly in love with Angel, asks for a raise from his boss to rent her her own apartment.
Monday, February 7
Episode 3 – Giving and receiving
Prey Tel visits his sick and dying partner. Electra gathers accomplices in a trick to find money fast. She wants to make the advance payment for the most important operation of her life. Stan shows Angel her new apartment. At the same time, his boss, Matt, comes to his house, in his absence, and flirts openly with his wife.
Tuesday 8 February
Episode 4 – The Fever
Damon is seriously ill with a fever and Blanca is very afraid of what he may have. Angel feels insecure about Stan and thinks that if she improves her appearance with a plastic surgery, maybe she will want him more. Meanwhile, Electra proceeds with its planned operation, despite the objections of its “sponsor”.
Wednesday, February 9
Episode 5 – Mother’s Day
Blanca learns that her biological mother has just passed away. She decides to go to her funeral, despite the looks of disapproval she will face from the rest of the family. Stan gets a promotion, which angers Matt. To “avenge” him, Matt reveals to Stan’s wife her husband’s illicit affair with Angel.
