Tati Machado suffered from the blackout that left São Paulo without electricity for days after the heavy rains that hit the state on Friday (3). The Globo reporter and presenter said that she had to take a shower at the station this Tuesday (7) when asked by Talitha Morete and Fabrício Battaglini, substitutes for Ana Maria Braga on Mais Você, about how she managed during this period without electricity.
The journalist, who once wanted to be an actress, then said: “It’s difficult. If for me, who has all the privileges, it’s bad… It made me reflect on people who go through much more trouble than me”, she said.
Tati reported that the power had come back on this morning in her house, but she had to take a shower at the station to save water. “It was 84 hours completely without light, so I was without water too. Imagine what my bath was like? It was a cat bath”, she joked. I washed my hair here at Globo today, because I was taking a cold shower. Now my mood is back.”
The journalist had already commented on social media that she was very upset about the blackout, which affected 2.1 million customers, according to the Enel concessionaire. She said she had even considered calling a water truck to at least have water to take a shower. “Let’s not be discouraged. I’m hopeful that everything will return to normal,” she said before celebrating the return of electricity.
