As the actor said when he was offered he believed he was going to take on the role of the villain in the next film of the James Bond franchise.
“I thought it was the new James Bond movie. So I said, “I’m finally being cast in a James Bond movie!”Cox said.

The Bond-inspired reality series follows nine contestants as they travel around the world taking on various challenges with the aim of winning £1 million. Cox has the role of narrator/mastermind behind the challenges the contestants face.
“Real people go on James Bond adventures to win a million pounds,” Cox said. “The only thing standing in their way is me!he added.
Speaking to “Variety” about his decision to join the reality show, the actor said that “they gave me a huge amount and that’s always a lure».
