The makeup product company of actress, singer, Selena Gomezannounced that it will donate a sum of money to the humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza.

The Rare Beauty announced its plans in a post on Instagram pointing out that it opposes all forms of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia and will proceed with donations to charities that will help victims of the conflict in Gaza.

A photo that reads “Humanitarian crisis in Gaza” and the caption: “We are devastated by the images and reports coming out of the Middle East» accompany the post.

Thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes and millions of civilians have been displaced and left without access to food, water, medicine or basic necessities for survival. A large number of the victims are children. Palestinian civilians must be protected” said the post.

We remain devastated by the horrific terrorist attack at the Nova Music Festival against innocent civilians in Israel on October 7, many of whom are also children. There is no situation in which attacks against civilians are acceptable» is noted.

Later in the post, the brand added that it is against anti-Semitism and Islamophobia and plans to donate to the International Red Cross, Israel’s National Emergency Medicine, Disaster, Ambulance and Blood Bank and the Palestine Red Crescent, which provide emergency care for those affected by the conflict in the region and UNICEF.
