Adriane Galisteu’s mother-in-law dies at age 78; presenter cancels participation in Telethon

Pedagogue and style director Suely Iódice, mother-in-law of presenter Adriane Galisteu, who runs the reality show A Fazenda 15, on Record, died this Saturday (11). Due to what happened, Galisteu will no longer participate in the Telethon, held this weekend on SBT.

The information was confirmed by Adriane’s press office in a note sent to F5. “It is with deep regret that PassCom advises that today, November 11th, in the morning, Suely Lódice, mother-in-law of presenter Adriane Galisteu, passed away”, states the note.

“It’s a sad moment for all the family and friends, we appreciate all the affection and ask for understanding during this period of mourning and recollection in which the presenter’s schedule will be suspended”, says the official statement.

Galisteu will continue to appear only on Record, in this Saturday and Sunday editions of the reality show, because their heads are already recorded by the presenter, who is off during the weekend.

Suely had a degree in pedagogy from USP and worked as a professional for four years. She worked as style director at Iódice, a brand founded in 1987 by her husband, Valdemar Iódice. Galisteu is married to Alexandre Iódice, one of the couple’s children.
