Actress Elizângela, 67, who was hospitalized with Covid sequelae, said in a live with actor and journalist Thony Di Carlo that she is in great recovery, still uses oxygen and confirmed that she did not take the vaccine against the coronavirus.
She says she is not against vaccines, but mandatory. “No [tomei], I can’t and I don’t want to, it’s not a vaccine, it’s an experiment. It is already more than declared, by the vaccine creator himself, that it is really an experiment. I’m not a guinea pig. I’m in favor of vaccines, I’ve always had them, but at the moment, no,” said Elizângela.
The actress stated that she was hospitalized with pneumonia because the doctor thought it was better due to low oxygenation, shortness of breath and to make intravenous medication that acts faster in the body. “Thank God I’m doing very well, a very quick recovery, because in fact I’m recovering from pneumonia simply, pneumonia”, emphasized the actress.
The actress criticized people who said she was intubated. “Unfortunately, there are people who, to seal it, go out saying absurd things and inventing horrible things. Leaving friends, family and my dear fans and followers, everyone worried”, said Elizângela.
Last month, her manager, Lauro Santanna, said that she had been admitted to a municipal hospital in the city of Guapimirim (RJ) with sequelae of Covid. According to Lauro, she did not need to be intubated.
“If I had [covid] It was very light, all this time. I tried to strengthen myself, do the things that could make my body nice, firm, zinc, those things, vitamin D, and that’s what I did all this time. Nor did anyone here at home have it,” he said.
Elizângela caused great repercussion at the end of 2020 when she spoke out against mandatory vaccination, which she compared to rape. Immunization against coronavirus in Brazil started in January 2021 and is not mandatory.
