Presenter Ana Hickmann preferred to remain silent during almost the entire program Hoje em Dia (Record) this Monday morning (13). However, before finishing the edition, she thanked once again for the messages of support and affection that she has been receiving since Sunday (12), when she reported Alexandre Correa for domestic violence.
“I wanted to thank you for the messages. It’s a difficult time for me, for my son and for my family. But I’m not ready to talk about it. Once I am, stronger, I will bring everything that is in my heart,” she said .
The presenter led the show, visibly haggard and without a wedding ring on her left hand. Earlier, on social media, she had already thanked those who cared about her in a post.
In a publication in which he appears in images with his son, he spoke a little about the moment. “My strength, my motivation, the love of my life! It’s for him that I wake up and go after my dreams every day. Thank you for the loving messages. Today is a new day,” she wrote.
Correa, in a message published on Instagram, admitted an argument with her, but stated that it was an isolated incident with no consequences.
“In fact, yesterday, I had a disagreement with my wife, an absolutely isolated situation, which did not generate any major consequences,” he said.
“I would also like to clarify that I never head-butted her, as is untruely being reported in the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time”, commented Correa.
According to the report contained in the police report, Correa pressed the presenter against the wall and threatened to headbutt her. When she freed herself and ran outside to get her cell phone and call the police, the businessman allegedly closed a sliding door with force, trapping the woman’s left arm, which was injured.
