She states that, little by little, she freed herself from the religious fundamentalism that had been imposed on her since she was a child.

“I continue to believe in Jesus, but I am aware that my faith does not stop me from living, from dyeing my hair, from wearing clothes, from making music. I have peace doing what I am doing, there is no conflict between me and my faith I don’t depend on a pastor explaining who Jesus is or indoctrinating me,” he said in an interview with O Globo.

The artist also spoke about how she stands firm in the face of criticism. For her, who grew up in the public eye, learning to protect herself was the best strategy.

“I don’t see much of what people are saying. If I see someone offending me or saying something that could cause me harm, I block it. I don’t like defending myself or justifying myself. I have a lot of confidence in what I’m doing and there are a lot of people enjoying it. , I focus on that. I have a life, my relationships, my dog ​​to take care of, a bed to make. I live this life to balance myself.”
