After the court’s decision to deny Ana Hickmann’s divorce through the Maria da Penha law, the presenter went to social media and criticized Alexandre Correa and his defense for commenting on matters that are under judicial secrecy.
“I saw the news talking about my divorce. First of all, I can’t give details of everything that’s happening because it’s a secret from the courts and I will continue to respect that decision, especially because I believe in justice. The law is on the right side.”

According to Alexandre Correa’s lawyer, the decision on the divorce was taken on Tuesday (28) by a magistrate from the Criminal and Domestic and Family Violence Court, and was made after the judge responsible understood that the court is incompetent having in view of the long process of deterioration of the marriage and the management of the couple’s assets and enterprises.
“These are issues of high complexity and specialty, which exceed the limits and parameters competent to the Domestic Violence Court. There are issues that could be of interest in a possible custody process and visits to the couple’s minor child that this court is incompetent”, he says the decision document. “I order the immediate redistribution of the case to the Family and Inheritance Court.”
