Florence Pugh was hit in the face by an object during her appearance at CCXP 2023 on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
The actress was on stage with her colleagues at “Dune: Part Two” when an object was thrown at her, apparently from the audience, and hit her in the face, according to videos circulating online. It is unclear what hit her.

Among those accompanying her to the film’s launch were stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler, as well as writer-director Denis Villeneuve. The cast of “Dune: Part Two” and the director were in Brazil to promote the film.
Pugh joins a growing list of celebrities who have been hit by objects thrown by fans while on stage.
Earlier this year, Bebe Rexha needed stitches near her eyebrow after she was hit by a cell phone thrown at her during a concert in New York. Harry Styles also injured his eye this summer during a concert.
Other celebrities who have been injured by objects from fans on stage are Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Ava Max and Billie Eilish.
