A new TV series about the punk feminist activist group Pussy Riot is in the development stage. The co-founder of Pussy Riotmusician and political activist Nadia Tolokonnikova has reportedly reached a deal with STX Entertainment to develop the series, which will be based on her upcoming memoir.

According to a report by Deadline Hollywood, Nadia Tolokoninova announced in a press release her intentions regarding the production of the series, expressing the ambition to “inspire a new generation of revolutionaries.”
