A couple dissolves because of anger. People completely different from each other, who have only one thing in common: they found anger in the affection of the people closest to them.
“affection” is called the coming social drama in SKAI from the next season and deals with abuse, the trauma that lurks in childhood and often defines adulthood and our ability to love ourselves and others.
At a time when anger has become a movement and domestic violence is on the rise, we need to better understand the root cause of the problem of violence but also to de-stigmatize psychotherapy, which is not taboo, but a path that can lead to self-knowledge, redemption and balance.
The series “Storgi” stars Maria Nafpliotou, who plays the psychiatrist -or Doctor as everyone calls her- Margarita Kalogeropoulou. The series takes place in a psychotherapeutic center in Athens. The team of this Center is staffed by Vicky Papadopoulou (Psychologist Vicky Vrana), Konstantinos Lagos (Child Psychiatrist Damianos Galanis), Yolanda Balaoura (Source, secretary of the Center), Vassilis Milionis (Bili) and Me.
In the therapeutic sessions with the Doctor they star based on the stories: Evdokia Roumelioti (Maro), Ioannis Papazisis (Giannis), Vasiliki Troufakou (Irini), Anastasia Pantousi (Aliki), Alekos Syssovitis (Sakis), Lena Papaligoura (Marina).
In the role of Apostolos Kalogeropoulos, Psychiatrist’s wife, is Aris Lebesopoulos.
