The Offspring are returning to Greece

Formed in 1984 in California, The Offspring were one of the bands that revived public interest in punk in the 90s. The main reason is the release of the unsurpassed “Smash” (1994) on Epitaph Records, which has now exceeded 11 million sales worldwide, becoming to this day the best-selling independent label album in the history of music, while the singles “Come Out And Play”, ‘Self Esteem’ and ‘Gotta Get Away’ became timeless anthems for an entire generation and sealed the band’s place at the top of the music scene.

Iconic albums such as ‘Ixnay on the Hombre’ (1997), ‘Americana’ (1998) and ‘Conspiracy of One’ (2000) followed, legendary songs such as ‘Gone Away’, ‘Kids Aren’t Alright’, ‘ You’re Gonna Go Far Kid’, ‘Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)’, ‘Why Don’t You Get A Job’ and hundreds of live shows around the world.

Dexter Holland, Noodle, Todd Morse, Jonah Nimoy and Brandon Pertzbornafter the release of their tenth album, “Let The Bad Times Roll” (2021), they carried out a huge tour with appearances in Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe, in front of thousands of people who adored one of the most distinctive bands of the last decades.

In 2024, The Offspring are celebrating 30 years since the release of “Smash” and will take to the stage of Platia Nero for a performance that is predicted to be one of the most explosive of Release Athens 2024.
