The Rolling Stones released the music video for the song “Mess It Up” from their new album, “Hackney Diamonds”.

The video stars English actor Nicholas Hoult as a man who leaves his home to escape a domestic dispute and then embarks on an adventure.

Directed by Grammy Award-winning director Calmatic, Holt emerges from a rocky relationship.

The video was released just weeks after the release of the album, in which the legendary group combines classic, blues-rock style with a disco, modern pop approach. ‘Mess It Up’ is the second song from ‘Hackney Diamonds’ to be accompanied by a music video following the single ‘Angry’.

Sharing the music video on his Instagram account, Holt says: “I can’t believe I’m in a @therollingstones video».

The Sir Mick Jacker, Keith Richards and Ronnie Woods album is the first with original songs in 18 years and also the first since the band’s drummer Charlie Watts died in August 2021.

Nicholas Hoult recently starred as the central character in the film ‘Renfield’ alongside Nicolas Cage.
