Marco Pigossi says he has plans to marry an Italian filmmaker

After recording scenes for the series “Maniac do Parque”, on Amazon’s Prime Video, where he will play a journalist in the plot based on the crimes of Francisco de Assis Pereira, in 1998, in São Paulo, Marcos Pigossi rests at his home in the city of Los Angeles, United States. And it has been almost four years living outside the country, a change that was not planned by the actor and happened during the pandemic.

“I wanted to use this time (pandemic) to get my American work visa, something I was already planning, but never stopped doing. Things happened, one job called another, and I stayed,” said the actor. With his family still living here, Pigossi said he comes often. “I’m always with one foot in Brazil”

If moving to another country boosted his international career, it was also decisive for a personal issue. In 2021, the actor made his relationship with Italian filmmaker Marco Calvani public. “I think the fact that I left Brazil was fundamental in this sense. When we move away, we can see things with different eyes”, explained the actor in an interview with the newspaper O Globo.

Pigossi acknowledged being surprised by the repercussion. “It was very positively surprising for me. Many people send me messages, cite me as an inspiration. I intend to continue, whenever possible, giving visibility and voice to this cause and to the people who are on the front line to improve the lives of the community (LGBTQIAPN+).

Regarding her relationship with Marco Calvani, Pigossi said that they are living together and that they are thinking about getting married in the future: “We have a very nice relationship and we are very happy. We have a signed document that formalizes our relationship. And we are making plans for a wedding , but nothing concrete yet. It will happen later on”, he said.
