Scandinavia’s oldest film studio, SF Studios, plans to release concert films in cinemas, starting with the film ‘Hov1 Forever’ which follows the popular Swedish band Hov1 during their sold-out summer tour.

The group Hov1, whose tour included stops in 27 cities in Sweden and Norway, topped the list of the most streamed artists in Sweden in 2023. Featuring members Ludwig Kronstrand, Noel Flike, Dante Lindhe and Axel Liljefors, the film will show the band performing their biggest hits on stage and wowing fans, but will also showcase their off-stage life, according to Variety.

The Swedish band made a splash in 2017 with their self-titled debut album “Hov1” and released three more chart-topping albums: Gudarna pÃ¥ Västerbron, Vindar pÃ¥ Mars and Barn av vÃ¥r tid. All have topped the charts. The band with millions of fans across Scandinavia has also won seven Rockbjörnen Awards, six P3 Gold Awards, three Grammy nominations and a record number of official number one singles in Swedish music history.

The film will be shown in cinemas in Sweden from 4 to 14 January and then in all the Nordic countries.
