The legendary Dolly Parton she had a sweet surprise in store for a fan of hers who is battling stage IV colon cancer and wanted to talk to her.

According to the Washington Post, Utah resident LeGrand Gold, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2019, wrote a list of 11 things he wanted to do before he died on a napkin a year ago. In seventh place was to meet Dolly Parton. “I thought it would never happen,” he told KSL-TV.
