In ‘Mayor of Kingstown’, Renner plays Mike McClusky, a mediator between street gangs, inmates and the police
A year after being seriously injured by a snow plow, Mr Jeremy Rennerreturns to the sets for the filming of the 3rd season of the famous series “Mayor of Kingstown”.
One of his co-stars, the Emma Laird revealed the happy news with a snap via Instagram Story from the shoot.
“It is a fact. I’m back with my favorite guy next week”Laird wrote with the actor reposting her.
It is noted that his accident on New Year’s Day 2023 had shocked the whole world. Renner was swept away by his 14,000-pound snowplow while trying to tow his nephew’s car after a heavy snowfall in Nevada.
In “Mayor of Kingstown,” Renner plays Mike McClusky, a mediator between street gangs, inmates and police in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Paramount+ gave the green light to renew the series in September. It premiered in November 2021 with the signature of Hugh Dillon and “Yellowstone” producer Taylor Sheridan.
