Galvão Bueno criticizes CBF, says that the entity disrespects history and asks Pelé for forgiveness

Former Globo narrator Galvão Bueno decided to criticize the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) after the entity counted on the arrival of coach Carlo Ancelotti and now lost the coach, as he had his contract renewed by Real Madrid.

On his social network, Galvão vented and cited the situation as a lack of respect for the history of the team. “I imagined it would be a day to make a comment, say a few words exclusively about memories, longings and tributes to Edson Arantes do Nascimento, King Pelé. But the directors of Brazilian football, especially the CBF, won’t allow it”, he began .

“They continue to disrespect the history of the Brazilian football team”, added Bueno, before starting to talk about the turbulent situation of the CBF, which currently has no president, as Ednaldo Rodrigues remains out of office.

“We have an interim president, an interim coach [Fernando Diniz] and we don’t have a team. If we don’t know who the president will be, what the president’s choice of coach is, we also don’t know what the team is. It’s very difficult to close the year like this. May you all have a good 2024. Pelé, to you I could say sorry, friend, sorry”, he concluded.

At the moment, José Perdiz, president of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD), has taken over the area while there is no definition. There should be a new election in January.
