Once and for all, Britney Spears has decided to leave the music industry, as the star herself announced via Instagram.

Responding to rumors that she is looking for composers and lyricists as she plans to return to the studio for her 10th album, the 42-year-old ‘pop princess’ made it clear: ‘They keep saying I’m reaching out to random people to make a new album… I’m never going back to music industry!!!”

“To be clear, most news is rubbish!!!” she also wrote in her post, which she even accompanies with Guido Reni’s Renaissance painting “Salome Holding the Head of John the Baptist”.
