Businessman Alexandre Bello Correa, Ana Hickmann’s ex-husband, filed a complaint with the IACHR (Inter-American Court of Human Rights) against the presenter. He alleges parental alienation between his wife and their 9-year-old son. The couple has been separated since November last year.

The information was confirmed to the F5 by the businessman’s lawyer, who sent the documents forwarded to the court to the reporter.

Correa was accused by the presenter of bodily harm and domestic violence. He had already requested Ana Hickmann’s arrest, days ago, claiming that he was being prevented from seeing his son. Her press office reported that the issue was agreed between their lawyers, which is denied by Alexandre’s defense.

Regarding the new action, Ana Hickmann’s communication has not yet taken a position.

According to Alexandre’s lawyer, Ênio Martins Murad, the representation was confirmed this Sunday (7), four days after the episode that would have supported the request.

In the document, the defense alleges that the father, when trying to pick up his son last Wednesday (3), was prevented by the mother, who justified the action with an alleged commitment from the son.

A court decision, however, guaranteed Alexandre the right to keep the child during the 2024 school holidays.

An excerpt from the decision was attached to the document, and says: “Absent proof of previously assumed leisure commitments, during the school holidays of January 2024, the child will remain with the father between the 3rd and 10th, with pickup at 9am and return at 6pm, the paternal grandparents are responsible for picking up and returning the child to the maternal home.

The defense text says that, on Wednesday, Ana Hickmann refused to hand over her son, justifying that she was going to the beach with friends and taking the child. On that day, says the defense, the father only had brief contact with his son, to have a snack.

Additionally, Alexandre Correa’s lawyers argue that Ana Hickman and her family were notified of the court decision, but were adamant about releasing the child.

It also says that the police station in Itu – the city where the presenter lives with her son – was informed about the failure to comply with the court decision, but did not take any action.

The press office was contacted during the early hours of this Monday (8), but did not respond at the time of publication.
