The presenter of BBB 24, Tadeu Schmidt, 49, spoke with his brother Vinicius Rodrigues, 29, this Tuesday (9), after a test considered ableist.
The recording of the chat was shown in the first block of the live program on TV Globo. In the video, Vinicius is sitting inside the confessional and responds to the voice of the global which is reproduced from outside to inside the house.

Tadeu started the conversation by asking if the participant was feeling well after passing the first endurance test of the edition. “I came here feeling angry, but I saw that I’m brave. There are a lot of people here who really want it,” replied Vinicius.
The participant is the only one in the reality show who makes money from playing sports. Last Monday night (8) he needed to remove the prosthesis from his left leg during the circuit set up by BBB production.
The need created outraged the public on the web, who stated that the test was not accessible and would have affected the para-athlete’s performance.
Tadeu admitted the program’s limitations on the subject and said: “We are here to learn together”.
Another subject addressed indirectly was the case of the participant who wanted to nickname the para-athlete’s amputated limb. “You have to have the right to speak. I’m an amputee and I have the authority to make jokes”, said the brother.
The conversation ended with the Globo presenter informing that Vinicius took three prosthetics to the program.
