Known to the general public as Chandler Bing from “Friends” (1994-2004), actor Matthew Perry, 52, revealed on Thursday (11) the cover of the autobiography that is due to be released soon. The work will be called “Friends, Lovers and The Big Terrible Things”.
The memoir had already been announced in October last year and will hit American bookstores on November 1st of this year — there is no expected arrival date in Brazil. According to the website Deadline, the actor will receive a value “in the seven figures” from the publisher Flatiron Books to tell his story.
“I’ve been written about a lot in the past,” Perry commented on social media. “I thought it was time to tell my version. The good times were great and the bad times were terrible. However, I survived to tell the story, even if in some it seemed like it wouldn’t be so. It’s all here.”
The actor even joked by apologizing for not being a pop-up book. Among the people who liked the post was actress Maggie Wheeler, 60, who played Janice in the series. She posted several heart emojis.
Perry has already revealed that he has been dealing with alcohol and drug addiction for many years. The actor said that at the time he was filming “Friends” he lived through one of the most difficult phases of his life, not remembering anything that happened in three seasons. He has been through several rehab clinics over the years.
