BBB 24: Rodriguinho’s team says it will take legal action against ‘attacks’ on the singer

BBB 24 participant Rodriguinho’s team stated, in a statement sent to the press, that it will take legal action against the “attacks and threats” that the singer has been suffering on social media.

Unpopular with viewers of the reality show, Rodriguinho earned the nickname “Podriguinho” after engaging in problematic behavior and harshly criticizing his confinement colleagues — especially women.

Yasmin Brunet had to ask Rodriguinho to stop commenting on her body. “You’re going to roll away,” said the samba singer, scolding Yasmin for eating.

The musician’s problematic statements sparked an alert on Globo. After threatening to beat Davi, Rodriguinho left the broadcaster worried about the possibility of yet another Karol Conká-style cancellation.

According to the singer’s team, attacks from internet users are also affecting family members and those responsible for managing their networks during the program.

“He has a lot to learn and improve inside and outside the house. However, this does not give anyone the right to attack and threaten him, much less his family and work team,” says the statement.

“The attacks that have been taking place are crimes provided for in the Brazilian Penal Code, reinforced by the recent law 14.811/2024, punishable by a fine and imprisonment of two to four years. So is the dissemination of fake news and biased headlines that blame Rodriguinho attitudes and speeches that were not his”, the statement continues.

“Appropriate legal measures are already being taken against all the attacks that Rodriguinho, his family and work team have been suffering inside and outside the house and no effort will be spared to combat cowardly attitudes like this, nor any other acts of violence, whether by words, actions or crimes of hate and turpitude that seek to overshadow his more than 20 years of career”, says the text.
