Former Big Brother Brasil 4 contestant Sol Vega, 43, said that her husband Tibério Cavagnini died of complications from Covid-19 in the early hours of Saturday (12). She posted a video on Instagram stories mourning her husband’s death.
“Guys, I thought this moment would never come, but Tibério passed away at 2:30 am. I’m here at the funeral home, and that’s it folks. I don’t know what else to say”, lamented Sol.
Days before Cavagnini’s death, the former BBB took to social media to reveal that her husband was hospitalized with Covid and that he had not taken the coronavirus vaccine. She vented about what she thought of the whole situation at that moment.
“I think we have to believe in science more. If he had been vaccinated, it wouldn’t be as bad as it is today. Or I could be wrong too. That’s what I think. You may think differently from me, but I’m going through a very bad situation.”
The former BBB said that she and her mother were immunized and that she is in favor of the coronavirus vaccine. She also said that she had advised her husband to go to the health center to receive the dose, but that he refused for reasons that could be political.
“Sometimes people are afraid, like Tiberius was afraid. I know that many people are afraid of the importance of being vaccinated. In the past, I didn’t have that. Nowadays I don’t care about politics. But vaccination also has a political connotation, this business of vaccinating, not vaccinating”, he amended.
According to her, when her husband chose not to receive his dose, she decided to respect the decision, but did not imagine that she would go through this suffering.
“Who am I to force someone to do something? And with this madness of politics, because nowadays when people talk about politics, people go crazy. It seems that politics is worth more than staying alive.”
