Leonardo DiCaprio has been photographed filming his new role for director Paul Thomas Anderson, a film titled BC Project. In the photos obtained by “Daily Mail”, the 49-year-old actor is hardly recognizable…

The photos have been taken from the actor’s filming in Northern California. The film’s plot is currently being kept under wraps, but “Deadline” recently reported that the film also stars Sean Penn and Regina Hall.

The film takes place in the modern era and is written by Anderson. Anderson is also producing the film alongside Sarah Murphy and Adam Somner.

The film’s budget is reportedly close to $100 million, according to Variety.

Anderson is the director behind several critically acclaimed films including ‘Boogie Nights’, ‘Licorice Pizza’ and ‘Punch-Drunk Love’.

The new film comes after Leonardo was not nominated for an Oscar for his role in Killers of the Flower Moon. The film received several nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Martin Scorsese, Best Actress for Lily Gladstone and Best Supporting Actor for Robert De Niro.
