BBB 24: Gil do Vigor counters comparison with Beatriz: ‘Stop persecuting me’

Gil do Vigor did not like being compared to Beatriz Reis Brasil, a participant on BBB 24 (Globo). In the early hours of this Saturday (3), the economist and former BBB member responded to a publication that featured a video of him on the reality show in 2021 and accused him of being a character. “I’m tired,” Gil wrote.

“Whoever supported this here has no morals whatsoever to call Beatriz forced”, said the internet user on X (formerly Twitter). In the video, Gil is in the living room of BBB’s house dancing in front of the camera and repeating: “Go, Brazil!”.

“There is no relationship between rooting for me and rooting for Beatriz”, began Gil. “She follows her path, in her own way (she’s like that, people, she’s not a character) and another point, I’m not on BBB.”

The ex-BBB also said that he was drunk in the video in question, as he “drank a lot, had come back from several walls and was on another one”. “What’s the problem? I was at the party, it wasn’t live and I was drunk. Stop chasing me!”, he added.

The comment that compared Beatriz to Gil do Vigor comes amid criticism made on the web regarding the BBB 24 participant. Internet users are criticizing the Brás saleswoman and saying that she is forced, a character.

In the reality show, Fernanda and Beatriz had a disagreement and the leader called the trader “a crazy person”.

The administrators of Beatriz’s profile on X responded to Gil’s tweet. “We are very sorry for this type of comment. But it is good to make it clear that Beatriz’s fans are not represented by these people. Bia has always had this attitude and this can be seen in her videos before the program. She has also been suffering attacks heavy with participants from different fans, but we choose to believe that the whole is not represented by small portions”, they wrote.
